The design of the CARD Sierra Nevada pool responds to the altitude conditions and the objective of creating a laboratory pool focused on altitude training, effort control and swimmer performance. It is specifically designed for biomechanical monitoring of swimming in order to achieve optimal training results. The project was developed in collaboration with high-level swimming coaches. Recently, adaptations have been made to improve the environmental conditions of the pool.

The pool in Madrid follows the same concept, without the altitude requirements. It is a space where new training techniques and technological support tools for swimmers are developed.
